Pride in Tradition

Mikkel Rude 1969 Boot

We proudly introduce the Mikkel Rude made by Solovair 1969 boot. The boot is a re-issue of a style of air cushion sole boot popular in the late 60s and throughout the 70s. The 11 eyelet boot features a slim silhouette and clean finish. Solovair in Northhampton, England, producers of the finest footwear since 1881 has made the boots for us. Solovair’s factory is one of the rare remaining British footwear manufacturers still producing in the U.K.

New Window Pane Checks

British Heavyweight

I bought my first chunky cardigan from a menswear shop in Middelsex Street, East London. In the ´60s they were made of wool but in the late ´70s early ´80s they were quite popular in the cheaper acrylic version, which was the kind I got back in ´83. Now, 26 years later, I have made the chunky knit cardigan as I think it should be; 100% pure British wool, made in England.
